Hi, I'm Ian Spencer and I've been photographing Bumps and Babies for over 30 years in Hull, Hessle, Driffield and Beverley, East Yorkshire and still I find photographing a baby one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever done.
Expecting a baby can be absolutely life changing. The excitement of finding out you're pregnant and watching your bump slowly getting bigger is just amazing. I can remember like it was yesterday how our unborn baby took over our world, which it is a shame that once baby is here it just becomes a faded memory.
I was lucky, been a photographer I took many professional pictures capturing our bump. Photos that we, as a family, take great joy looking at and talking about. Our boys are quite fascinated with the idea that they’re inside that bump that mummy has in the photo.
