Baby,baby,baby

In the last year thousands of babies have been born but due the restrictions imposed on us all be able to get baby photographs hasn't been allowed. It's sad to think that those precious early days have just been caught on a mobile phone destined to never be printed out and one day most likely lost forever.

Thankfully we seem to be out of lockdowns and life can get back to some sort of normality. I'm also thankful that photographers can get back to doing what we love to do and photograph babies, families and weddings.

Nothing can be as precious as a baby photograph capturing a baby's first year, capturing first smiles, being able to sit up and standing for the first time. These are precious moments that I've photographed for thousands of customers for over 30 years. Many of the babies I've photographed are now bringing in their babies for me the photograph, something that is strange but lovely at the same time.

There is no better job than creating images that will be looked at at cherished long after I've left this mortal coil, just as i cherish the images of my ancestors.
